Hi, everybody, my name is Darryn Davey I am the madman who decided to think of this idea. The ethos behind QSO (quantum symphony orchestra) is one of string theory, according to some theorists the macro universe is made up of tiny strings of energy. So my thought process was if they are all strings then it must be like a symphony.

So a chain emerged the strings vibrate bringing matter into existence, I think therefore I am, the music comes out of me into the digital world (still electronic signals), out into your ears triggering an electrical signal to the brain which in turn releases chemicals into the bloodstream. It is then turned back into electrical signals to make you get up and dance, putting the energy back into the universe.

 My long involvement in music started in 1989 with the acid house scene. I have played keyboards since the age of 4 played a lot by ear (later in life I learned theory), and this new style of music just grabbed me, and I have loved electronic music ever since.

 I went to college to study The Royal School Of Music qualification in theory grade 5. Had a few chances of fame but got disillusioned by the industry and went back to family life. Still kept dabbling here and there over the years but never had those chances again.

In 2009 I suffered a massive CVA stroke, it was touch and go for a while, but eventually, i made it through the darkest days of my life so far. 2010/11 I had an insatiable lust for music it would be running around my head always, so I took the plunge and said I would not go through my life sulking about the things I never did. So I went back to college and did the access to music course set by Rock School for which I got a merit, learned again how to use a computer and music software.

Now I'm at university with my own business making music for a living (well I say living) but the happiness it gives me when a customer gives you feedback and says "I love it" is special.
